A packed room heard Ceri Jackson and John Actie discussing the making of 'The Boy From Tiger Bay'. Many important issues were raised by the audience, above all, how we fight to ensure that this kind of gross injustice doesn't happen again.

Ceri Jackson's new book is out!
Reviews:
This is, without doubt, the best book I have read on miscarriages of justice. Ceri Jackson has done a masterful job in combining exhaustive research with the raw emotion of a true story, told through the eyes of one of the protagonists, John Actie. It reveals a new understanding of the depth of injustice the Cardiff 5 were subjected to, of the life of the principle victim, Lynette White and the character of the real killer, Jeffrey Gafoor. Ceri has the forensic eye of a detective, together with the poetic hand of a story teller. If you care about injustice, you MUST read this book!
This book is miles away from my normal reading but it turned out to be the most gripping story I have read for years. It would be really nice to think that actions similar to those of the Cardiff policemen would be impossible in present times but the Post Office saga suggests otherwise.
Justice For The Cardiff 5 at the RMT Conference
The campaign was invited to speak at the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers Union Black and Ethnic Minority Members Conference in Swansea on 10 April 2025. It was an honour to present the story of the Cardiff 5 to the delegates who generously invited us to speak at branch meetings around the UK and donated to our campaign funds. Many thanks to everyone who was there.

Michael O'Brien (Cardiff Newsagent 3) and Andy Marshall (Justice For The Cardiff 5 Campaign) are working with Swansea University students to help establish a new student society called Social Justice, which will campaign against injustice of different forms. Here, we begin their work with an interview on the Cardiff 5 and why it is still vital to fight for this injustice to be addressed.

Coming soon, an interview with Michael O'Brien
